Qualifications

Capital R Construction is a qualified KB-1 contractor in the state of Arizona since December of 2003.  We focus on commercial construction, tenant improvements, and custom homes.  We also have a landscape division that specializes in all types of commercial and residential projects.
With the changing of the market, we have diversified our skill sets so we can better meet today’s demands.  We understand the importance of budgets, timeliness of construction, and quality of work.

Los Alamos Professional Plaza
- Location: 1179 E. Cottonwood Lane, Casa Grande, Arizona.
- Brief Description: Mediterranean style retail buildings and all site work.
- Roughly $1,400,000 of construction costs.
- Construction Methods: wood-frame construction, masonry basement, concrete, steel columns, exposed rough-sawn beams, tile roof, stucco, travertine, pre-cast concrete trim, landscaping, underground utilities, grading, drainage, and paving. Capital R Construction self-performed the concrete, framing, and painting.

Regency Falls Professional Park
- Location: 1179 E. Cottonwood Lane, Casa Grande, Arizona.
- Brief Description: Retail style office buildings and all site work.
- Roughly $1,800,000 of construction costs.
- Construction Methods: wood-frame construction, concrete, steel columns, tile roof, stucco, stone veneer, landscaping, lagoon water feature, rock falls, underground utilities, grading, drainage, and paving. Capital R Construction self-performed the concrete and landscape.

A&M Pizza
- Location: 116 W Frontier Street, Eloy, Arizona.
- Brief Description: new building for an Italian restaurant and complete site work
- Roughly $625,000 in construction costs                 
- Construction Methods: wood-frame construction, flat roof, stucco, wood beam trellis patio, kitchen hook-ups, walk-in freezer, acid-stain floors, landscaping, underground utilities, grading, drainage, and paving.  Capital R Construction self-performed the framing on this project.

Amsource Retail Center
- Location: 1550 E. Florence Boulevard, Casa Grande, AZ 85122
- Brief Description: office retail space with building and complete site work
-Roughly $511,000 in construction costs
-Construction Methods: wood-frame construction, wood trusses, steel columns, flat roof, stucco, metal trellis, landscaping, and complete site work.

Security Title Agency, 1175 E. Cottonwood Lane #3, Casa Grande, Arizona.
-Brief Description: executive office suites for business professionals build out with light gauge framing, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, grid ceiling, tile, industrial carpet, cabinets, countertops, and more.

Mediterranean style custom home, roughly $430,000 in construction costs
- Included: custom drawn plans, wood-frame construction, wood trusses, roof tile, tile, wood floor, stone columns, granite, custom shower, soaker tub, fire place and many other fine finishes.

Southwest style custom home, roughly $375,000 in construction cost
- Included: custom drawn plans, wood-frame construction, wood trusses, sunken floor, cement roof tile, porcelain tile, wall tile, wood plank ceiling, exposed wood beams, custom tiled snail shower, fire places, stone work, and many other fine finishes.

Capital R Construction has self-performed much of the work mentioned above. We have crews that can do landscaping, hardscapes, painting, drywall, stucco, and framing.  We were also the concrete contractor on the following projects:

Sonic Drive In, 3061 West Hunt Highway, Queen Creek, Arizona. We did all the concrete work including curbs, ramps, sidewalks, foundations, slabs, sloping floor for kitchen drains, and more.
Sure-Link Storage, 847 N. Colorado Street, Casa Grande, Arizona. We poured all of the building slabs including a concrete slab on the second floor of one of the storage units.
Olive Garden, 717 N. Promenade Parkway, Casa Grande, Arizona. We did all of the concrete work including structural slabs, colored concrete, foundations, slabs, sloping floors for drains, and more.

Roddy “Rusty” Riggs, President and Founder of Capital R Construction.  Mr. Riggs graduated with honors from Northern Arizona University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Construction Management and a minor in Business Management.  Mr. Riggs is also a qualified LEED AP through the U.S. Green Building Council's Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Rating System. 

Roddy has over 15 years of professional construction experience.  He has gained valuable construction experience by being involved in the construction management of several construction projects including the following:

• A roughly $80 million 206,500 SQFT performing arts center for the City of Mesa.
• A roughly $3 million 30,000 SQFT concrete tilt-up Social Security Administration Building in Scottsdale, Arizona.
• A roughly $6 million 36,000 SQFT wood framed juvenile treatment center for Maricopa County.
• A roughly $8 million, 100,000 square feet transpacific distribution center off the I-10 in Phoenix, Arizona.
• Residential subdivision for KB Homes in Arizona City, Arizona.

Robert Hardee, Supervisor of Operation for Capital R Construction.  Mr. Hardee is currently in school for Project Management through the University of Phoenix.   He is excellent at scheduling and coordinating work.  Mr. Hardee has over 20 years of construction experience.  This experience is gained by many construction projects including the construction supervision of:

• Commercial Retail Center, 973 E. Cottonwood Lane, Casa Grande, Arizona.
